Practical Help and Support

Dining (Check out our monthly MENU!)
Wilmington Senior Center serves lunch at noon each weekday in our dining room. There’s much more to this daily meal than the food itself. Calories and companionship feed body and soul. And enjoying a cup of coffee with friends in the morning is the perfect way to begin the day.
Lunch reservations must be made by noon the day before. Call (302) 651-3400.

Hot, nourishing meals are also delivered directly to homebound individuals from Monday to Friday, with frozen meals provided for weekends. Nutritional supplements can also be provided when needed.

Transportation
The Center owns and operates a wheelchair-accessible 18-passenger bus and a minivan. Rides to and from the Center are available daily for a modest fee. We use our vehicles for trips, as well as periodic grocery shopping and banking.
Morning pick-up requests must be made by 3:00 p.m. the day before. Call (302) 651-3400.

Samaritan Outreach Center
Wilmington Senior Center is a partner with the Ministry of Caring in the Samaritan Outreach program, which provides services for homeless and potentially homeless individuals and families. For information contact:
